COACHING SESSION AGENDA

In this two-hour coaching session we will:

1. talk about your mission and hopes for your book
2. go over the types of editing and when they occur
3. go over the 5 options for publishing (3 for self-publishing, 2 for traditional publishing), and the related pathways
4. talk about finding an agent or a publisher
5. talk about query letters - what to include, what not to include, how to format them, and how to query
6. talk about book proposals - what to include, how to format your proposal
7. I’ll show you how to research your “comp” titles for your query, book proposal, and media kit 
8. talk about testimonials and endorsements (needed in advance of querying for your book)
9. do a sample edit of your pages to show you how to do a self-edit

At the end of the coaching session, I'll send you:

1. statistical links so you can start your marketing research for your media kit
2. a query letter template you can use to write a query letter to get an agent, a publisher, or endorsers
3. a book proposal outline
4. tips and tricks to find an agent and publishers
5. a list of publishers who take unagented queries
6. information about a consultant/project shepherd who can help you as you navigate the path of publishing
7. and more.
