Hi, I'm Michael Ireland. Thanks for visiting my website. 

A life-long learner, I'm passionate about studying the relationship between the mystery traditions of antiquity and modern New Thought (aka "new age philosophy"). I guess I'm a bit of a spiritual geek. For over two decades, I've sought to bring the wisdom of the ancients into modern practice. An eternal student of all things esoteric, I am (IMHO) a fantastic spiritual book editor and a great resource for information on age-old philosophical traditions as well as modern topics in spirituality, mediumship, near-death studies, self-awareness, wellness, and mindfulness. I spent the better part of 15+ years in university libraries ... with my nose in musty old books like the ones pictured here (that's the Encyclopedia of Religion my hand is resting on)  ... and along the way, I acquired three graduate degrees in religion and metaphysics. With a career background in the event, television, and film production industries, I combined my organizational skills and film savvy with my knowledge of the ancient world to develop several television programs and scripts about myth, mysticism, and magic. That is how I learned to write about spirituality - and the rest, as they say, is history. 

As an editor, I am focused, efficient, and respectful of your author's voice and writing style. I know the Mind Body Spirit genre well, and as noted, for decades I have dedicated myself to attaining knowledge about the metaphysical and spiritual worlds. I am trained in mediumship and the psychic arts, in several modalities of wellness and healing (see certifications below), and I have a wide knowledge base in holistic living issues: yoga, meditation, energy healing, vegetarian cooking - I have edited books on these topics and more.

I've spent a lifetime studying religiosity and spirituality - and I've loved every minute of it. It's what I came here to do. And that, in itself, is woo-woo enough for now.
